More Accuracy, Less Admin: New Releases on the 3Dtracking Platform

When your clients grow, it creates the opportunity for you to grow alongside them. With Release v3.33, we’re strengthening three pillars that support that growth: more accurate data, more efficient workflows, and greater flexibility within your fleet management platform.

Here’s what we have for you.

Key takeaways:

Spotlight: Tachograph data file download

The tachograph feature lets you download both vehicle and driver data files from Teltonika’s TachoSync platform straight into the 3Dtracking platform, remotely. No more bringing vehicles back to the depot just to manually pull files - a fleet manager can do it all from the control center or on the move. And with automated alerts for activities like exceeding the speed limit, it’s easier to take quick, informed action when risks pop up.

Key benefits:

  • Download DDD, V1B, C1B, and TGD files into the same platform your clients are already using for fleet management.
  • No need for manual tachograph downloads, thanks to full remote access.

Spotlight: Input flow report

The new input flow report guarantees precise measurements from your client’s flow (pulse) sensor by calculating every fuel transaction from the moment the liquid starts pumping. It’s invaluable for anyone in liquid-dispensing industries - fuel, chemicals, water - who relies on accurate records for fuel usage tracking and auditing.

Need to verify precise volumes from every flow-sensor reading? Concerned that teams are siphoning fuel for use in their personal vehicles? Consider this input flow report as the trick up your sleeve.

Key benefits:

  • Achieve transaction-level accuracy for all liquid dispensing events.
  • Gain clear visibility of total units dispensed per transaction.

Spotlight: Area covered calculation

  • Precise measurement of the ground covered by each vehicle or machine.
  • Improved efficiency and productivity for field operations.

Platform new releases and updates

We’ve added a series of updates designed to take friction out of your day, tighten security, and give you easy access to accurate data. For a closer look at any particular functionality, please contact us.

Dormant account lockout

Inactive user accounts are a quiet security risk. The new Dormant Account Lockout setting automatically disables accounts that haven’t been used for a set period, without deleting them, and administrators have full control over all inactivity lockout rules.

Consumables enhancement

Need to reverse a transaction for consumables? Our platform streamlines reporting and provides a full audit trail by capturing additional information to make the process easier and more transparent for finance or operations managers. This additional information includes details such as dates, external references, supplier status, and transaction type.

Exclude POI from driver behavior report

Bad driving, or an inconsequential mistake? Harsh braking or idling can show up in reports even when a vehicle is simply maneuvering through a confined site or queueing for entry.

Now, you can exclude selected POIs from your driver behavior reporting so only genuine road activity affects scores. Depots, yards, and drivers will no longer skew results. A waste-recycling fleet, for example, can exclude its main depot, so any “bad driving” within the area won’t count against the driver.

Stop time reports include idle time

Idling can be just as costly as long stops. The stop report on our platform now includes idle events, and you can set your own idle time thresholds - receive a clearer picture of excessive idling, fuel waste, and unnecessary engine hours linked to stop events. This is especially useful for fleets trying to enforce idling policies or reduce costs tied to engine-on stationary time.

Command access level

We’ve given you full control over who can run which commands. Command permissions are managed centrally, so sensitive actions stay restricted to the right people. This offers a more organized, safer way to manage access.

New access level to request footage

Media access is now even more secure. A new access level lets you enable or disable who can download video footage for each camera device - for example, a fleet administrator might allow general users to view standard cameras while locking down sensitive units to senior staff.

DID tag field on driver ID tag usage

The driver ID usage report now includes a “DID Tag” field that shows every detected driver ID, even if it’s unassigned. Your clients gain full visibility into which driver is driving what vehicle, including cases where a driver jumps into a vehicle without the correct driver tag. Unknown or mismatched IDs will be easy to spot.

Refuel limit for compound sensors

Refuel limits used to apply only to single sensors. Now, they’re available for compound sensors too, offering better monitoring accuracy for fleets with multi-tank setups. Preventing fuel theft is more achievable, too, since a fleet manager can track fuel additions across all tanks and configure alerts to trigger when limits are exceeded.

Webhooks on all alerts

More alerts now support webhooks, so real-time event data can flow from our platform to your external systems. This means instant updates, and automated workflows that do the heavy lifting for you. For example, a panic alert can immediately trigger a notification at a control center and log the event for compliance without manual intervention.

Driver behavior report grouping

Get granular and increasingly relevant reports with more ways to group and analyze driver behavior, including grouping by driver or by vehicle. This makes it easier to compare trends across teams, regions, or departments; a fleet manager overseeing multiple branches can quickly spot high-risk groups and prioritize coaching where it’s needed.

Report name inclusion

Scheduled reports can now carry custom names, so users spend less time and effort searching in their inbox for what they need. Instead of everything arriving as “driver behavior report,” you can label reports by team, region, or purpose. A manager running multiple versions of the same report can instantly tell them apart.

Day and time filters for POI visit report

The POI visits report lets you choose specific weekdays and time windows. It’s especially valuable for industries where usage peaks during certain hours. Instead of full-day data, you now dig deeper and track visit patterns during particular operational periods.

Improved cloning queue process

Cloning a large number of units used to leave you wondering how long it would take. Today, the process now displays real-time progress, so you always know where things stand. Once cloning is complete, the system automatically sends you a confirmation email.

If you need to clone dozens (or hundreds) of units, the new progress bar and completion notification keep you on top of everything’s status.

New device integrations

To support the growing mix of vehicles your clients manage, we’ve added a new batch of device integrations to the 3Dtracking platform.

  • Teltonika: A compact 4G LTE Cat 1 tracker built for e-mobility fleets. It reads CAN data directly from the vehicle, so users get access to crucial performance parameters.
  • NatureLink: A smart 4G GNSS tracker designed to combat vehicle theft and improve recovery. It includes advanced protection features such as Hijack Detection, Vehicle Theft Detection, Tampering Alerts, and GSM-Jamming Detection.
  • Ruptela: A durable, long-life GPS tracker engineered for minimal maintenance. Powered by two replaceable AA LiSOCl₂ batteries, it can operate autonomously for up to three years with two position reports per day.
  • Navtelecom: A 4G LTE dual-SIM tracker built for mixed and industrial fleets. It includes built-in GPS/GLONASS antennas, a backup battery, and dual-CAN interfaces to connect directly to engine and comfort buses.
  • Meitrack: A tough, IP67-rated 4G GPS tracker with multi-GNSS support (GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo) for accurate live tracking. Its wide power input range, backup battery, and flexible I/O interfaces make it suitable for fuel probes, temperature sensors, and driver ID accessories.
  • SinoTrack: A 4G tracker designed specifically for motorcycles. It supports GSM and LTE for consistent positioning and delivers reliable tracking for theft prevention and rider safety.
